These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Stegra.io application and related services (collectively, “Stegra.io,” “the Service,” “the App,” “we,” “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you (“User,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Subject to these Terms, Stegraio AB grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by Stegraio AB.
“User Content” includes any rides, routes, tracks, photos, comments, or other material you upload or submit through the Service. By submitting User Content, you grant Stegraio AB a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and modify such User Content to operate and improve Stegra.io. We will not distribute, sell, or share User Content outside of Stegra.io without your consent.
If you choose to make routes or other content public, you are solely responsible for ensuring that such routes are lawful, safe, and correctly mapped. This includes verifying that any public routes respect access rights, traffic regulations, and safety considerations. Stegra.io does not review, moderate, or verify user-created routes and accepts no responsibility for their accuracy, quality, or legality. Users who rely on public routes do so at their own risk.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to submit it, and that it does not violate any applicable laws, third-party rights, or intellectual property rights. We may remove User Content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your login details with others or allow unauthorized access. If you believe your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately.
When using the Service, you agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaging in prohibited conduct.
When you use navigation or record rides, the Service collects location, movement, and related metadata. This data is stored in your personal ride history and used to operate and improve Stegra.io.
We use trusted third-party cloud service providers to host and process data securely on our behalf. These providers act as data processors under strict agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties outside the operation of Stegra.io. All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.
The Service, including its software, design, functionality, trademarks, and all content not provided by users, is the property of Stegraio AB or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or otherwise exploit the Service or its content except as expressly authorized by us in writing.
Map Sources: The maps and geographic data used in Stegra.io are based on data from OpenStreetMap, which is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Stegra.io develops its own route and navigation algorithms using this data. The underlying map data is updated regularly, but Stegra.io does not control or verify its accuracy, completeness, or reliability. Stegra.io is not responsible for errors, omissions, or consequences arising from the use of such data.
User Routes: Users can create, share, and publish routes through the Service. Public routes are entirely user-generated and are not reviewed or approved by Stegra.io. The creator of a public route is solely responsible for ensuring it follows applicable traffic laws, access permissions, and safety standards. Stegra.io makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, legality, or safety of user-created routes, and users who follow public routes do so at their own risk.
While we aim to keep the map and route data reasonably up to date, the Service may still contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or unsafe routes.
You are solely responsible for how you use the Service. This includes:
Stegra.io provides guidance only. The final responsibility for lawful and safe riding rests with you.
We offer Monthly, Seasonal, and Yearly subscription plans. Subscription fees are billed in advance and renew automatically unless canceled.
When you start a subscription, your full access to premium features begins immediately. By purchasing a subscription, you agree that access starts right away and that your statutory right of withdrawal (if applicable) ends once the digital service has been fully delivered.
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method. You may cancel at any time through “Manage Subscription.” Cancellation stops future renewals but does not entitle you to refunds for unused periods, except where mandatory consumer rights apply. Premium features remain available until the end of your paid subscription term. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, billing, cancellations, and refunds are managed by those platforms, and their respective terms and conditions apply. Please refer to your App Store or Google Play account settings to manage or cancel your subscription.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at our discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends immediately.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to uninterrupted availability, accuracy of data, or fitness for a particular purpose.
This includes any inaccuracies or omissions in map data based on OpenStreetMap or other third-party sources, or in user-created routes made public through the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by Swedish law:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Stegraio AB regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
