Created by a small, high-performing team — Jimmy, Niclas, and Josip — in Sweden, for riders everywhere. It fits every kind of ride: from curvy scenic routes and gravel expeditions to the daily commute. Why We Built Stegra
Because every great ride deserves to feel effortless. We started Stegra to bring adventure motorcycling into the modern age — where planning, navigation, and exploration flow together seamlessly. When we bought our own bikes, we realized nothing out there truly captured the way we ride: across surfaces, bikes, and adventures. So, we built it ourselves. Our mission is simple — to create technology that enhances the freedom of riding, not distracts from it.
How We Build It
By riders, for riders — with craft, curiosity, and care. We’re a small, high-performing team — Jimmy, Niclas, and Josip — building everything in-house, from routing algorithms and map rendering to the smallest UI detail. Every feature starts with feedback from real riders and is tested on real roads before release. We combine full-stack expertise, rider insight, and relentless iteration to keep Stegra fast, intuitive, and built to last.

Niclas Tingström
Co-founder · Product, Business & Partnerships
I’ve always been a gearhead — cars, bikes, and anything with an engine basically run in my veins. Being driven to daycare in Chevelles and El Caminos will do that to you. I love technical adventure riding and chasing curves, and right now I’m on a Tenere while eyeing a 765RS and an Enduro 701 (the wish list keeps growing — don’t ask).
From starting out as a mechanic to managing software teams in automotive tech, I’ve always followed my drive. With Stegra, everything has come together — the love for machines, people, and progress. Building a company and product is difficult, exhausting, and just plain wonderful. We’re creating something we actually want to use — and something that makes people happy.
Day to day, I handle the business side — finances, market research, social media and, together with Jimmy and Josip, product development. Pretty much everything except coding. I leave that to the full-stacks.
Jimmy Sorting

If there’s one thing that’s always defined me, it’s a deep curiosity for how things work, and a relentless drive to make them better. Since finding my love and passion for programming in the early 2000s, I’ve been drawn to creating, improving, and pushing technology further. And somewhere along the way, that passion met another obsession: motorcycles.
For me, riding is about more than just speed or freedom. It’s about exploration, precision, and the feeling of being completely connected, to the road, to the machine, and to the moment. That same mindset fuels how I build products. Every line of code, every interface detail, every new feature is about delivering that same sense of flow and excitement to riders around the world.
At Stegra, I’m the one deep in the engine room, architecting systems, shaping the user experience, and turning ambitious ideas into real, working features. From designing our route engine and maps to building great tools for route creation and navigation, I love solving hard problems and seeing those solutions come to life. Building Stegra has been the most challenging and rewarding project of my life, and we’re just getting started.
Josip Mirkovic

Ever since I first threw a leg over a bike, I’ve been hooked. Not just on riding, but on understanding what makes every journey special. From the rush of sportbikes on trackdays to the quiet rhythm of adventure rides through forests and mountain trails, motorcycles have always been more than a hobby for me. They’re a way of life.
That same curiosity and drive carry into my work. I’m passionate about developing products that make riding more intuitive, connected, and enjoyable. Whether it’s refining navigation experiences, optimizing route planning, or finding smarter ways to blend technology with the raw freedom of riding, I love turning ideas into tools that riders actually want to use.
These days, my garage reflects my love for all kinds of riding: a Yamaha Ténéré 700 for adventures that go far off the beaten path, a Honda CRF300L (technically my wife’s, but I borrow it often), and a Triumph Daytona 675 for those perfect days when only speed and precision will do. For me, it’s all about combining passion with purpose and building things that help others experience the same excitement and freedom that motorcycles have given me.
